Home at Last

Last week I travelled for a media tour for my new book, "I'm Not Good Enough and Other Lies Women Tell Themselves. Whew! It was quite a ride. I flew to Chicago and left Charlotte, NC (home) just before a snow storm hit. Then I rented a car and drove into downtown Chicago as snow flakes covered the landscape. Now I have to tell you, I can get lost in a paper bag, so when the publisher told me that I had to rent a car and drive into downtown Chicago, well, let's just say I wasn't shaking because it was below freezing. But I rented a GPS for the first time and have decided that the lady who was talking me through the traffic is now my best friend! I love that gal.

Monday morning I was live on WMBI- Moody Broadcasting. Then it was off to South Bend, Indiana to tape two television programs on LeSea Broadcasting. Tuesday I drove back to Chicago to catch a plane to Calgary, Canada. Yes, my new best friend in the little GPS box was with me:) She even re-calculated when I made a wrong turn. Grace. I just love it. We make a wrong turn, admit our mistakes, and God recalculates the directions to get us back on the path!

Once in Calgary, it was off to Lethbridge, Canada to do a live call in TV program in the morning and tape two programs in the afternoon. Slept quick, then up at 4am to catch a plane to Winnipeg, Canada to tape 3 programs for It's a New Day. Then Friday I was homeward bound.

Home. I just love it. My husband, Steve. I just love him. I wonder...when we get to heaven after all this running around we do here on earth, will we feel the same sense of relief? Home, I just love it. My Savior, Jesus. I just love him.

I want to share a fun picture with you.
Recently Edith Gross travelled to India and took two copies of "I'm Not Good Enough and Other Lies Women Tell Themselves." She met with the administrator for a ministry that reaches the remote villages outside of Hyderabad, India with medical and dental teams, HIV Aids Clinic, Cancer Kids, all used to reach the villagers with the Gospel. She gave a copy to two Indian sisters. Praise God the message is traveling around the world!

If you have a fun picture with one of my books in an unusual place, I'd love to see it! Just send it to sharon@sharonjaynes.com
